A creative practice that involves working with the earths offerings, perhaps my most cherished interaction with the natural world. Inspired, raw and impermanent. My journey in environmental art began after I watched a documentary called ‘Rivers and Tides’ about the artist, my inspiration, Andy Goldsworthy, who creates intricate and delicate sculptures from natural materials such as leaves, driftwood, flowers, and icicles. I am most inspired by loose parts found in nature…giving new meaning to the magic found beneath our feet. Exploring the interconnections that exist in nature and within our own imagination.
